DISCLAIMER
1. CONTENT OF THE ONLINE OFFER
The GRASSI Museums accept no liability for the topicality, correctness, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability claims against the museums relating to material or immaterial damage caused by the use or non-use of the information provided or by the use of incorrect or incomplete information are fundamentally excluded, unless there is evidence of wilful intent or gross negligence on the part of the museums.
All offers are subject to change and non-binding. The museums expressly reserve the right to change, supplement or delete parts of the pages or the entire offer without prior notice or to cease publication temporarily or permanently.
2. REFERENCES AND LINKS
In the case of direct or indirect references to external websites (‘hyperlinks’) that lie outside the museums' area of responsibility, a liability obligation would only come into force if the museums were aware of the content and it would be technically possible and reasonable for them to prevent use in the case of illegal content. The museums hereby expressly declare that no illegal content was recognisable on the linked pages at the time the links were created.
The museums have no influence whatsoever on the current and future design, content or authorship of the linked pages. Therefore, they hereby expressly distance themselves from all content of all linked pages that were changed after the link was created. Liability for illegal, incorrect or incomplete content and in particular for damages resulting from the use or non-use of such information lies solely with the provider of the page to which reference is made, not with the person who merely refers to the respective publication via links.
3. COPYRIGHT AND TRADEMARK LAW
The museums endeavour to observe the copyrights of the images, graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts used in all publications, to use images, graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts created by themselves or to make use of licence-free graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts. All brands and trademarks mentioned on the website and possibly protected by third parties are subject without restriction to the provisions of the applicable trademark law and the ownership rights of the respective registered owners. The mere mention of a trade mark does not imply that it is not protected by third-party rights.
The copyright for published objects created by the museums themselves remains solely with the museums. Reproduction or use of such graphics, sound documents, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed publications is not permitted without the express consent of the museums.
4. DATA PROTECTION
The server on which the website of the three museums at GRASSI is hosted is located in a data centre in the European Union, namely in Germany. The data centre is operated by a German company. An order processing contract has been concluded with the hosting provider, which fulfils the requirements of Art. 28 GDPR.
If there is an option to enter personal or business data (e-mail addresses, names, addresses) on the website, the disclosure of this data by the user is expressly voluntary. The use and payment of all offered services is - as far as technically possible and reasonable - also permitted without providing such data or by providing anonymised data or a pseudonym. The use of contact data such as postal addresses, telephone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses published in the legal notice or comparable information by third parties for the purpose of sending information that has not been expressly requested is not permitted. We expressly reserve the right to take legal action against the senders of so-called spam mails in the event of violations of this prohibition.
The museums use ‘Plausible Analytics’ on the basis of their legitimate interest (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of the online offer). The provider of the service is Plausible Insights OÜ, Västriku tn 2, 50403, Tartu, Estonia. Plausible is an open source analytics service. All measurements on the website are performed anonymously. No cookies are used and no personal data is collected. There are no persistent identifiers and no cross-page or cross-device tracking. The website data is not used for any other purpose. All visitor data is processed exclusively on servers owned and operated by European companies and never leaves the EU. Details can be found in the privacy policy of Plausible Analytics: https://plausible.io/data-policy
We use the video service Mux from Mux, Inc, 150 Beale Street, Floor 9, San Francisco, CA, 94105, which is a CDN for the provision of videos. A CDN uses a technically automated server in close proximity to the user to respond to the request. If technically necessary, a server in the USA can also be used.
Mux does not process any personal data or set any analysis cookies. No functions for analysing user behaviour of the video function are activated.
Further information on the handling of user data can be found at https://mux.com/privacy , https://docs.mux.com/guides/ensure-data-privacy-compliance and at https://mux.com/files/mux-dpa.pdf
